Youth Clubs Update

It is a pleasure to support the 100’s of dedicated volunteers who facilitate Wiltshire’s Youth Clubs. Each of our 65 affiliated youth clubs is different, but all offer safe places for young people to go, role models and positive activities that promote personal development.

We are indebted to the variety of funders that have enabled us in the last 12 months to provided accredited training for 52 young leaders and 72 youth leaders in areas such as; first aid, leadership, sports delivery and safeguarding. A range of adventure sports, arts and music projects that over 500 young people from a variety of clubs have come together to take part in. Local youth club ‘Try It’ based volunteering projects, set up, fundraising, governance and delivery support.

Seven member youth clubs have recently been benefitting from support to deliver their local programmes from our team of outreach youth workers, including Old Sarum, Aldbourne, The Shak, West Dean, Bradford-On-Avon, Box ‘Green Room’ and Holt Youth Clubs.
