Activities for young people make a Splash

Splash launched its first ever Christmas activities programme last month. Five activity sessions ran over two days, engaging fifty-three young people.

The activities delivered included Forestry Fun with Wiltshire Wildlife Trust. Young people had the opportunity to make wooden reindeer ornaments, which they were then able to take home with them at the end of the day. This activity was a first for Splash and Wiltshire Wildlife Trust and was very well received by the young people.

Splash Coordinator, Dawn Whiting, said: “All the young people thoroughly enjoyed making wooden figurines. It really makes a difference when a young person can take something they have made home with them to show their family and friends. These items also provide a memory of the fun day they had with Splash”.
