An Inspiring Twelve Months
Over the last 12 months 46 young people aged 16-18 who were ‘Not In Education Employment or Training’ (NEET) have engaged in our Inspire ‘Study Programme’.
Through a diverse programme of practical activities, including embedded Maths and English, adventure sports, personal and social development activities, volunteering, work experience and class room based learning they have achieved over 250 accredited awards from a menu of;
BTEC Units Self-Assessment, Carer Progression, Introduction to Health and Safety, Working In a team, Taking Part in Sport, Enterprise (each unit achieved is a stand- alone award, on the achievements of 14 Credits young people achieve a BTEC Certificate in Vocational, HsE First Aid, SLUK Day Sports Leaders Award, ASDAN Leadership, V Awards, Functional Skills Maths and English entry level 3-Level 2.
Young people have left our programme to a wide range of college courses, part and full time employment and apprenticeships.
