Young Arts Leaders Group


What? An exciting new young arts leader’s project where YOU get to have YOUR say. Including:

• Arts leadership training in event planning, fundraising and arts assessing
• The opportunity to gain an Arts Award
• Organising and planning a whole Arts Activity Day from start to finish for other young people at The Arc Theatre in Trowbridge
• Visiting and reviewing arts events in Wiltshire

Who? We are looking for young people aged 15 – 21 who already have experience of the arts, whether it’s being in the school play or being in a band.

Why? This project is an opportunity for you to say what you think about the arts in Wiltshire and learn the skills to organise and run an event. This event will give other young people a chance to get involved in the arts and have their say too.

Where / When? Sessions will be approx every other Thursday from 7 – 9.30pm in The Art Room at Bradford-on-Avon Youth Development Centre

Would you like to run a session that is a little bit special for the young people in your club?

YAW now has a qualified Archery Instructor who can come and run sessions at your club.  The sessions are an hour and a half long and cost £40.
