Project Inspire |
Youth Action Wiltshire is an award winning service delivered through Community First. Today we are proud to be one of the largest youth support services in Wiltshire. With support from a wide-range of public sector service partners, sponsors and Trust giving organisations we offer support to a broad network of youth clubs and also to disadvantaged and vulnerable young people aged 5-25 years including young carers, and young people not in education, employment or training.
In 2012/13 we reached over 1000 young people aged 5-15 years and over 300 volunteer leaders.
What We Do:
Employability Programmes "Project Inspire" – supporting young people back on track who are at risk of NEET (Not In Education, Employment Or Training) or who are NEET
Youth Club Support – developing new youth clubs, and working with youth and young leaders to ensure voluntary youth clubs are safe interesting places to be.
Volunteering – NCS Credits and Young Leaders programmes utilising volunteering as a tool for personal development.
Young Carers – keeping young carers safe in their caring role and equipping them for the future.
